Please see my previous answer: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 17#p307917.

Here is the relevant text again:
If you need to use the 2.0.5 version of Audacity, then after putting the DLL files in the Plug-ins folder, open Edit > Preferences..., choose the "Effects" section on the left, enable the box "Rescan VST effects...", OK, and restart Audacity. When you restart, you will see a dialog and a checkbox for each new effect. Make sure the checkboxes are enabled, then OK.

In either version you can change to Windows WASAPI host and use the (loopback) recording device for whatever device is playing the sound. See http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tuto ... tml#wasapi.

Of course, you should have copyright holders' permission to record from that karaoke site.

again, in the 2.0.5 version of Audacity, after i copy and paste the reverb dll file into audacity plugin folder, these reverbs do not show when i click effect. only anwida and glaceverb reverb shows. not other reverbs that i downloaded and placed their .dll file into the audacity plugin folder.

Again, in 2.0.5, you have to use Edit > Preferences..., choose the "Effects" section on the left, enable the box "Rescan VST effects...", OK, and restart Audacity. When you restart, you will see a dialog and a checkbox for each new effect. Make sure the checkboxes are enabled, then OK. You have to do this every time you add a new effect into the "Plug-Ins" folder.

Also be aware that Audacity is a 32-bit application. So you must install only 32-bit plugins into Audacity's Plug-Ins folder, even though you have a 64-bit version of Windows.
