Hi,
I used to be able to record any radio or podcast I was listening to ... or movie ...
suddenly I try to do that and get a terrible noise.... the blue audio signal fills the
panel ... its a total mess !

That's quite an old version now. the current version is 2.1.2 which is available here: http://www.audacity.audio/download/windows/

HIT the transport .... the sofware playthrough was ticked
unticked it ... bingo.... I can record audio live on line again
