Hello- want to be able to split a stereo track into two mono's online help says there's a selection in the dropdown menu

However in 2.1.1 on win7pro-64 there is no split track option/menu listing.
So where is it?

We don't have the resources to provide email support, and it is a bad idea to post your email address on a public forum (especially one that gets as much traffic as this one) as the address is likely to be harvested by a spambot.
The current version of Audacity is 2.1.2 and is available here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
The option you are looking for is called "Split Stereo to Mono" and is 3rd from bottom of the menu.
Note that this is the menu accessed by clicking on the name of the track (the "track dropdown menu") and not the "Tracks" menu in the main menu bar.
