Latest Audacity alpha BUG

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

Latest Audacity alpha BUG

Play at speed still doesn't work by keyboard.
It assign the key combination, but no response.

Will be fixed this bug?

Works fine for me on Windows 10, setting F9 as the key.

There should be no reason for it to be different on other Windows versions.

If you still think it does not work, please give exact steps to reproduce the problem including the key you assign. Are you using a non-English keyboard?

In Windows 7 doesn't work. :(

We can't fix something that's not broken. You should tell us exactly what you were doing when it failed.
