Hello, I was wondering why when I record music using a CAD u37 through audacity version 2.1.1 using a Windows 7 why won't it play back. When i unhoock the microphone it will playback, but when the mic is in it won't. Is there a way around this?

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

Set the Audacity playback device in Device Toolbar to the speakers or headphones that you are using, or make those speakers/headphones the Windows default playback device.
