Replace with silence [SOLVED]

Post by mr2nut123 » Thu Oct 29, 2015 12:04 pm

I have recorded a drum track and it's perfect except for me adding an extra bass drum near the end  lol. I know how to add a silent section into the recording, but i don't want to modify the length of the track by even the smallest amount for obvious sync reasons. Is there a way to drag over the particular note, and simply replace with silence? Hope that makes sense.

Click and drag over the note to select it, then "Edit menu > Remove Special > Silence Audio" (shortcut Ctrl+L)
