Help for Audacity on Windows.

Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

I'm stupid. I know there is a simple answer, but I am unable to play just one pair of audio tracks. It plays all track together. Kinda noisy. Thanks for someones help.

If you export the performance it will do that, too.

Use the MUTE and SOLO buttons to the left of each track.

The "Mute" and "Solo" buttons are in the "track information panel" ("track control panel") http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... html#panel

The behaviour of the "Solo" button has two options that can be set in preferences - I prefer the "Simple" behaviour, but the other option ("Standard") is the default. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tr ... ences.html
