I opened two mp3 tonight and both opened a diferent instance of audacity instead of one on different tracks. Why is this and how can i get back to having two tracks in one instance? Win 7 764 bit - Audacity 2.1.1
Thanks

Re: Opening two files
There might be more than one way to do it, but try dragging the 2nd file in to Audacity.

Re: Opening two files
Every time you File > Import > Audio, you get a new sound track stacked below the last one (click the graphic).
