Playing 44100 Hz files at 48000 with AIMP3
Normally I save my projects as FLAC at 44100 Hz. I'm using AIMP3 audio player and it has the option to play at 44100 or 48000. If I select 48000, and play files that were saved at 44100, should it go ahead and play them at 48000, or do they have to be saved at 48000 already? Thanks.
Re: Playing 44100 Hz files at 48000 with AIMP3
Playing a 44100Hz track at 48000Hz is similar to playing a 33&1/3rpm record at 45rpm : the pitch and tempo will increase. Unless you want to modify the sound, you should play it back at the same sample-rate it was created.

That's kinda what I thought but wasn't sure. Appreciate it.
