Windows 10 Problems

This forum is for Audacity on Windows.
Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

Windows 10 Problems
Hey. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and was going to edit a file on Audacity, but every time is says there is an internal audio port error when I have a working audio port for iTunes. Please someone help. I've already tried reinstalling ASIO4ALL

Audacity doesn't support ASIO, so it doesn't matter which drivers you install. You're pretty much limited to the normal Windows drivers and services. I don't know what those are because I'm a Mac elf. Other elves will be along.

If you compile Audacity from source code, you can add ASIO support to it.

The first step is to go to the web site of the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer and see if you can find audio drivers for Windows 10 meant for your specific computer.
