What does "Stopped" mean in the left lower corner?

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Only for version 2.1.1.

It simply means Audacity is not recording, or playing. In other words, the playhead is not moving through the audio file...

Thank you, really. simply, "Stopped - Plaing". And another, please, "Snap to" - how to choose 1. Off 2. Nearest 3. Prior?
