Hello,
My friend recently asked me to isolate a vocal track from a Kingdom Hearts video and gave me both the audio with the vocal track as well as the music for the background. I scanned the music for noise removal and then applied it to the track but the vocals got quiet as well as the music and the only thing that remained was a shimmer halfway through the track. I also tried to remove vocals and duplicate the track to scan the copy, but that didn't work either.
I'm using 2.0.5 and the files are too large to upload but I can provide any info about the track needed. If anyone could find a way that this can work, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

Re: Need Help Isolating Vocals On A Video
If the track is mono, then isolating the vocals is near impossible.
If it is a stereo track, then you have a chance (but definitely not guaranteed success). See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tu ... ation.html
