Using Windows 7, freeze up

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Using Windows 7, freeze up

Sometimes I get a freeze up when I hit the record or play button. Any ideas what's happening and how to set it straight?

Which Audacity are you using? We need the accurate number, not an abbreviation.
