2 tracks playing at one time

2 tracks playing at one time
After saving a previous recording, I started a new one but did not delete first recording. As I was the recording the live track, the first recording was playing back at the same time. After the second recording was over I stopped it but could not save it to the computer. I now have one recording with both tracks playing at the same time. Is there a way to separate the track and retrieve both recordings separately?

You can listen to either track with the MUTE and SOLO buttons to the left.
You can select one song by clicking just above MUTE and File > Export Selected.
It should be possible to File > Save Project with both songs just as they are.
What you can't do is Export with two songs, unless you use a custom, exotic export.

Also check where you are saving the project or exporting. You can't save anywhere in Program Files unless you are administrator.
