Voxengo CurveEQ

Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

Voxengo CurveEQ
Audacity recognises the .dll file for Voxengo CurveEQ - and a bunch of Kontakt 5 stuff - but none of them appear on the effects drop-down. Where am I going wrong here?

Foreign effects appear in the second segment of the effects list. It goes A-Z twice.

Curve EQ will appear and work in the current Audacity 2.1.0 from http://web.audacityteam.org/download/windows if you install CurveEQ in one of these locations: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ef ... ml#syslocs. You must install the 32-bit VST 2 version even if you have a 64-bit computer.
Audacity does not load VST synths or instruments.
