I've been trying to make my friends listen to my music on skype calls using stereo mix, but stereo mix doesn't seem to work with my headphones being the default speaker. I tried it with Audacity and same thing doesnt seem to work but when I use Open Broadcasting System the stereo mix seems to work with my headphones.
Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm using a Conexant HD audio driver and have Dolby advanced audio on my system tray.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Stereo Mix not recording sound with USB headphones
Stereo Mix works with the soundcard. USB devices don't go through the soundcard.
Skype is vicious with its sound management. You usually have to use software designed to work with Skype, not general purpose software like Audacity.
