You can make Audacity "auto flip" to the current screen on Record, but not Playback. Someone will correct me, but that's a feature request.How do I toggle to autoscroll on playback?

Are you looking for "Update display while playing" in Tracks Preferences? That works when playing or recording?
If you want to move up or down tracks, use UP or DOWN arrow on your keyboard.
