I recently downloaded Audacity and get this error message and can't record anything: Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate.
I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No good. I have Windows 7 -- 64 bit. Tried installing both latest software (2.6) and older one (2.5). Same message both times.
