I use Windows 7, Audacity 2.0.5 and I used the .exe installer.
Audacity is no longer recording sound. I have the following settings:
Audio Host: Windows DirectSource
Speakers (Realtek High Definition)
Microphone (Realtek High Definition)
Input Channels: 1 (Mono)
Can you see what mistakes I've made? I've changed the settings with no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The current release is 2.0.6 http://audacityteam.org/download/windows.
If it's an external microphone, make sure you turn the input volume up in Mixer Toolbar:

Make sure you have not disconnected the microphone accidentally.
