Still won't record

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Still won't record

I have windows 7 , I downloaded audacity 2.0.6 plus I downloaded LAME v3.99.3 , I try to record music online and it doesn't record, just a straight blue line, i have tried different combinations of settings MME/Speakers/Microphoine etc. and still won't record, why can't I record?

The Lame software is to allow Audacity to make a new MP3. That's all it does.
