wont work

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

wont work

every time i try to open my file it states "the setup files are corrupted. please obtain a new copy of the program." even though i have installed it twice i cant get it to work.

Did you get Audacity from this page?

http://audacityteam.org/download/windows

Audacity is pretty popular and there are copycat installers out there which either don't install right, or install bogus versions of the program.
