Combining MP3s [SOLVED]
I'm trying to overlay two MP3s so that they play at the same time, not one after the other. Is Audacity able to do that?

Re: Combining MP3s
Yes. Import one and then import the other. They will arrive one above the other and play at the same time.
You may not, however, export the combined show at the same MP3 quality value as the originals. The filesize is going to get very much larger for the same sound quality.
Never do sound production in MP3. It's a bulldozer. You can dig yourself a hole vey efficiently.

I've got them both imported, I just can't do anything with them. I click on "File" and everything, but import and exit are dead.kozikowski wrote:Yes. Import one and then import the other. They will arrive one above the other and play at the same time.

Many of the Audacity tools drop dead if you are in Pause rather than Stop.

Ah, just figured that out. Now, it's telling me I need a .dll file to do MP3s. Oh well.
