Linking Lame to Audacity [SOLVED]

Hi I am operating on Windows 7 I have down loaded Audacity and Lame again but can not export as MP3 any advise please.Roy

You should be using the latest Audacity version (currently 2.0.6) from http://audacityteam.org/download/windows. When you have 2.0.6, please follow http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... .html#lame to make sure you download and install the correct version of LAME.

If the problem persists after following the above, please say exactly what the error message says when you try to export and attach the log file from Help > Show Log... . Please see here for how to attach files: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 49&t=64936.

If LAME is installed correctly but you are putting dots (periods) in your file name, add ".mp3" (without the quotes) after the end of the file name before you export.
