mp3 music file volume modification [SOLVED]

Help for Audacity on Windows.

Gale,
There has to be a way to convert the music files from the Audacity format to mp3.
Or, maybe to wmp, or another format, then to mp3 for use in iTunes.
iTunes will convert just about anything to mp3.

"Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe" from lame.buanzo.org is 515 kb, so I suggest you delete the 1.5 MB installer you have then run an anti-virus check on your system.

Only download "Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe" from the plain text link that says that. Do not click download buttons because they are advertisements that may harm your computer.

When you have the correct "Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe", double-click on it to run the installer, as you would with any other installer.

Yes, export to WAV from Audacity then convert to MP3 in iTunes. WAV is lossless. Then if you must convert to MP3 in iTunes you will only lose quality once.
