Hello,
I just got back from a show and I went to dump the audio files onto a usb stick for client and there are literally 100's of files. I thought there would be a few for each session. Instead its 100's of 6 second clips. Is there any way to consolidate all the files together inot 1 long track? I am on a bit of a time constraint, so any help would be greatly appreciated
100's of files instead of 1. Need help please

Re: 100's of files instead of 1. Need help please
You saved an Audacity Project. A Project consists of an AUP text file that tells Audacity what to do with all that stuff in the _data folder. You need both.
Double click on the AUP file and Audacity will launch back to the original show. Then you can File > Export a stand-alone sound file. If you need an MP3, you'll also need the Lame add-on software package.

Don't move or change anything inside the _data folder. The aup file and _data folder must be in the same place or folder to open.
