recording start up

recording start up
As soon as I try to start a recording I get a very High pitch sound that I can't stop. some times I even have to close it to stop the niose ????

Are you on headphones? You can't live record with speakers running. Are you trying to self-record — are you trying to record YouTube or something on-line? Make sure your sound pathways are set up right. Self Recording establishes reverse sound pathways and if you do it wrong, it's a howling feedback path.
