Audacity is not recording

Post by Mary-o » Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:54 pm

I must have changed or reconfigured something on my computer (HP) because when I try to record on Audacity, I don't get anything. PLEASE help. I have an assignment due tonight at midnight and I need to record the audio for an art video project. Thanks you so very much!!!

I can't get the mp3 audio file to import into the timeline. It wants to go into the music line and it has to coordinate with the music. It has to be on its own separate line.

Are you not recording on Audacity any more?

Every time you Import an MP3, it's going to go on its own timeline. Is that the problem?
