remove noise
I have made a sound recording with 5 tracks. The first 5 seconds of all tracks have a bad noise, I would like to just chop off the first 5 seconds of all tracks. How do I do this?

Re: remove noise
Either Shift-Click just above the MUTE button on all the tracks (to select them), or, I think it's Control-A (Select all)
Put numbers in the number entry blocks at the bottom of the main Audacity window. Selection Start: (0) and [X] End (5 sec.)
Delete key.
