Recording In Mono.[SOLVED]

Post by bowlesj » Wed Jan 29, 2014 6:37 pm

Hi,

I am using Windows XP. I just upgraded from an old version of Audacity to the latest audacity 2.0.5 using the .exe download. All my old recordings are in mono and there is no need for stereo (prefer it be in mono). Can this version record in mono or do I have to roll back to 1.2.6.

Thanks,
John

To record in mono, set the number of channels to "1 (mono)" in the device toolbar.
