I am editing a recording for a client. I'm highlighting a selection that I want to delete/cut but it's not giving me the option to delete. Can someone help me. I was able to delete one section and now I'm not able to. Am I missing a step?

Many of those tools drop dead if you're in Pause rather than Stop.

I always think that it would be a bit more useful if Audacity actually told the user why a particular tool is unavailable rather than just graying it out in those circumstancesEMcGrath wrote:Thank you! I was pausing vs. stopping.
