Hi,
I'd like to generate a 1kHz sine signal with Audaticy, and recording it the time it is played, still with Audacity. I'll allow me to check if my sound card (linked to a loudspeaker and a microphone) is working well. I hope it is possible.
Thank you for your help !
Lyth

Re: Recording while generate
Use the generate effect first to create a sound.
Check in the Transport toolbar that "overdub" in on (selected).
Record your voice - you should be able to hear the generated sound while you are recording.
