Hello. I am trying to figure out how to enhance the background voices on a audio that I recorded on my cell phone. I converted it to a WAV file and downloaded the most current Audacity software to try and hear the conversation that is being recorded in background. Is there anyway to add the track to this message? If not any advice on which tools to use in audacity would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you..Sharisse

Re: Can background Voices Be Enhanced
You can cut out the low bass sounds and the high frequency hiss by using the "Telephone" preset in the Equalization effect. That's about as far as we go. If you need better than that you will probably need the help of an audio forensics professional.
