Device Toolbar is where you were choosing Audio Host, output and input device and recording channels in Audacity:

Do not change Device Toolbar settings if it is now working, but if you have hidden Device Toolbar and you need to show it, choose View > Toolbars and click on Device Toolbar.

Thanks again,
When I Click on view and then toolbars and then device toolbars I seem to have all checked
at that location, but I don't get the interface of the toolbar.
If I uncheck all but device toolbar I still don't get the image of toolbar.
It's probably nothing I need but can't help wondering why it don' show.

You may have moved Device Toolbar somewhere you cannot see it.

Try View > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars then all toolbars should dock into position.

I guess I'm giving up on finding the image of the toolbar. It's just not working.

If it's easier for you and you need to change input or output or recording channels, Edit > Preferences then choose "Devices" top left. Those are the same choices that are in Device Toolbar.
