Aftyer installation in Win 7 32 bit, Audacity does not apepar in the list of recommended programs that can be associated with mp3 file types as the default program. I click on "Browse" and then select Audacity.exe (in Program FilesAudacity) but nothing changes - Audacity does not become the default.
Any ideas what is wrong?

Yes to having Audacity 1.X installed. As to whether it was the default program for mp3, I think so but am not 100% sure.

Thanks Steve, that took care of it. I chose the wrong search words and did not find that post.
