spliting into tracks

Well I mastered naming the songs recorded from cassette tapes. I'm guessing the main purpose for that is so you can find them later with ease to edit them.
I read on about spliting and moving and swaping around. Too much at one time. What I would like to do is split the tape into tracks, name them and export so that it will be like a cd after download. Is that possible?
