Howdy. In case anyone's interested, here is an edited version of track 3. All your input on track 2 was very helpful. So this is more like what the rest of the course will sound like. http://www.deepermeditation.net/forum-sample-2.mp3

Sounds good and tight and can work well for other applications. On this one, however, I actually did a lot of "generate silence" to give people time to process ideas. I've also noticed a couple more places where generate silence could be added.

I think what's driving us crazy is you pausing in
unnatural places or in the middle of
a thought. That's very awkward to listen to and it sounds like you forgot the words.
Did the client tell you to do that? Do they know you're doing that?
Can we assume that anyone listening to this can rewind it and play it again if they didn't understand?
Good storytelling rhythm, pace and metre is essential for any spoken word performance short of BBC English Learning.

Sounds good. I'll tighten those parts more with the "cut" function.

Or you could read your script again in a more pleasing way.I'll tighten those parts more with the "cut" function.

Re: Reducing Harshness of Booming Vocals
I have had similar problems with the slight boomyness in my recordings (if you will pardon my word invention). I think it's mostly to do with people who have a range between baritone and tenor. I found that I could reduce the effect a little by reducing the pitch by -3% (frequency from 22050.000 to 21388.500 Hz); this also made my recording sound more like I do to myself.
