My Audacity 2.0.1 records fine (from LP) for a track or two, then suddenly all I get is white noise and the wave pattern turns into a solid blue bar. I deinstalled and downloaded again when this first happened, but the same problem cropped up again. Any advice?

If you press Stop and then Record again, does the same problem happen again after a couple of tracks, or once it starts making trash, it stays that way?
