Punctuation marks in filenames can result is unusual and sometimes entertaining computer errors. The only two non-letter or number marks universally accepted are underscore and dash. A very common error is dates. Today is 20120728, not 7/28/12. If that graphic is your filename, you might try not using that apostrophe.

YES. STOP SHOUTING!

Where were you trying to save the work? Try saving to the desktop instead of one of the Music folders.

I know this is an old joke, but have you restarted your computer?

You said "now." Did it used to work? Did Windows do a System update between the time it used to work and now? Did you do a Virus Update recently?

Does the folder you're trying to save to still exist?

We could send you to reinstall Audacity. It's a special process for this, you don't just trash the program files.

This is already fixed in 2.0.1. Upgrade here http://audacityteam.org/download/windows and then you should not need to remove the metadata to solve the issue.
