delay on second track

delay on second track
hi im useing 2.0.0 ,windows7,alesis multimix 8 board,when i record the first track it works perfect,but when i record the second track like drums elrctronic,one line in to the board i get bleed through and bad delay,what have i done wrong

I assume you're trying to do multi-track overdubbing?

Sometimes, when you're recording from Stereo-Mix or What-U-Hear to get internet sound, you leave those settings for live recording. Bad idea. You have to record from a specific device like Line-In or Mic-In. You will also run into delays and echoes you can't fix without special hardware.
