I need simple way to correct while recording voice
Hi,I have recently been given work recording texts in my own voice. I have downloaded Audacity, but can't see a super simple way to pause when I make a mistake, or am interrupted, rewind, listen up to the place where the mistake or interruption occurred, then record over it. If it is possible to do this simply, could someone please tell me the steps? If it can only be done in a separate editing process when recording is over, I hve downloaded the wrong programme. The instructions in the manual are for other more complicated activities. Thanks, Jay

That's called Punch-In and no, Audacity doesn't do that. You can set a label, Tracks > Add Label or whatever your hot key is and go back later and fix it. Koz
