Hello everyone :) Im new here...I got a new usb microphone to record some of my singing on audacity. When I got done recording, I exported the file, and went onto Windows Live Movie maker so I could make an audio video to put on Youtube. When I added the song file, there was no sound when I clicked play on the video. Perhaps it was an issue with the recording settings when the file was exported? Any help would be appreciated :) Thank you

You still have the Audacity Project or original WAV files, right? Try exporting them at 48000, 16-bit, Stereo. That's the television sound standard and that's not Audacity default.

well, ive exported before when i DIDNT have the new microphone, and they still played in my movie clips. I'm wondering if it had to do with me changing the stereo and microphone settings when I plugged in my microphone :(

Is your new microphone USB?
If so, see here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ:Playback#usb
