A note. We urge people not to back up a large truck (lorry) and dump ton lots of effects, plugins and filter into Audacity. One sure way to kill Audacity out of the gate is to load an effect it can't handle.

"See that huge pile of effects? One of them is bad. Have a happy day."

That and Audacity, unless you prevent it, tries to do an index of all your software and you could be there until next Thursday waiting for it to go down the list and manage everything it finds.

The pack of LADSPA effects has been put together by Steve Harris.
There is a limited amount of information about each of those effects on his web-site. Unfortunately his website appears to be down at the moment, but here's the address: http://plugin.org.uk/
