On an earlier version of Audacity with a setting of "stereo" while recording from my computer no side noises were recorded. Ever since I downloaded the previous to "2.0 version" and also with the 2.0 Audacity records the webcast and all noises that are present. How can I set the recording so that it will only record the webcast?
Greatly appreciated.

Re: recording
The symptoms are that you're recording the built-in microphone.

Re: recording
Thank you for your post. On the previous Audacity version the microphone was built in too yet no side noises (in the room) where recorded, only the sound from the webcast. What is the setting on Audacity 2 to achive "elimination of side noises"?
Greatly appreciated.
