Side by side configuration?

I have succesfully downloaded and installed audacity, but when ever I try to open the program an error message pops up and says " The Application has failed to start because it has a side by side configuration error. I am trying to open this on a windows vista.

Are you using Audacity 2.0.0 from
http://audacityteam.org/download/windows ? If not, please download that version.
Otherwise please try the steps in the green panel here:
