Audacity Forum

I'd like to know why whwn I open audacity,appear a window where was write : "The streaming engine could not be initialized, there was a problem initializing the streaming engine. This is most likely caused by a driver version mismatch." Wath kind of driver is it ? Someone could give me a explanation about this ?

Are you sure you're opining Audacity? Audacity has no Streaming Engine. Also, even if you do have a streaming engine made by somebody else, Audacity does not mix sound in real time. Koz
