sliding time scale / pitch shift

Hi:

I have been experimenting with this effect to slow down the speed of music without altering the pitch.

I am just wondering why certain percentages are skipped over when using the slider and, as a result, I have to manually enter the desired percentage myself. Is there a reason for this?

Thank you.

The slider controls (in all effects) have limited resolution. Although they may appear to be analogue controls they are actually digital and so have a limited number of discrete (discontinuous) values. If the number of values is made too high then scrolling with the cursor keys will be extremely slow. The developers need to compromise between accuracy and efficiency, but in-between values can always be entered by typing into the value box.
