I need to create a DCP file for a preshow on my digital projector at my drive in. The FAQ says the source files needed for audio to make a DCP are : “24-bit PCM 48khz or 96khz wav files (each channel is a separate mono wav file)” (http://code.google.com/p/opendcp/wiki/FAQ). Im having trouble figuring out how to do this in Audacity.
I know nothing about DCP, but to export a “24-bit PCM 48khz” WAV file:
Set the project rate to 48000 (bottom left corner of the main Audacity window.
“File menu > Export” and select “other uncompressed files” as the file type", then click on the “options” button.
In the “options” select “WAV (Microsoft)” and “Signed 24 bit”.
