Audacity 2.0, Win7, .exe installer

Hello.

I downloaded the noise gate plugin from the wiki and extracted the .NY file to the plugins folder, then closed and restarted Audacity. However, I can't find the plugin under any of the menus.

Sorry if this is a common thing, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

In the Effect menu there is a horizontal dividing line. Above the line are the built-in effects and below the line are plug-in effect. The Noise Gate will be listed below the line.

Also at the Bottom of the menu there is a small down triangle that you can use to scroll down further to see more plug-ins and at the top is the up triangle for scrolling up, hope this helped
