I recorded the audio in V1.3 but couldn't edit it, so I uninstalled and installed V2.0. I still cant edit the sound. I have tried everything, selecting and pressing delete, pressing the cut button, pressing backspace etc. When I go to edit drop down it doesn't even give me the option as its greyed out.
After giving up I went to save the file, but this option wasn't available to me either as it was greyed out. I had to quit the program to get the automatic response, do you want to save before exiting! Please help

Re: can't edit audio
Ensure that Audacity is not playing, recording or paused. It must be "stopped" (click on the "Stop" button) before the menu items are available.
