Ok i have a numark mix track pro and i was trying to record a new mix i just made. so i pluge in my rca cable to 3.5 jack then pluged it into my line in componet on my computer. then i hit record and i pushed play on my numark mix track pro. Then i went to look at audacity to see of it was recording it was but it was really loud and distorted . Like the bars where so big it wouldn't fit onto the screen. does anybody know how to fix this???

If you have a laptop computer, then there's a really good chance you don't have a Stereo Line-In and Mic-In typically only works with actual microphones. Scroll down to "Connections."
